Early Voting at Southeast and Ponte Vedra
Early voting for the Republican presidential primary is being conducted daily through Saturday, January 28th at the Southeast and Ponte Vedra Branch libraries. Voting days and hours are Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PM and Saturday 9AM – 4PM. Remember to take current and valid photo and signature ID with you when you vote. NOTE: If you do not have proper ID, you must vote a provisional ballot. St. Johns Reads Selection: "Unbroken"
SJCPLS is proud to announce that we have chosen Laura Hillenbrand's Unbroken for the seventh annual St. Johns Reads 2012 in February. Telling an unforgettable story of a man's journey into extremity, Unbroken is a testament to the resilience of the human mind, body and spirit. Throughout the month of February, each library branch will host a variety of programs and events including book talks, lectures about WWII Liberty ships, Japanese culture, a POW documentary, Genealogy programs and much more. The entire program will wrap up with a spectacular Salute to Veterans Dance at the Council on Aging River House on Sunday, February 26 from 2-5 pm. Here is a full schedule of events.

Join us as we welcome New York Times Bestselling author Tim Dorsey back to the Bartram Trail Branch Library! Tim will be talking about the newest book in the Serge Storms series, Pineapple Grenade. He'll also be discussing his foray into holiday literature with his other recent book, When Elves Attack. The talk will be followed by a book signing. Bring your own copy, or purchase his book at the event. Snacks are provided by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library.
