All branches of the St. Johns County Public Library System will be closed Friday July 3 - Sunday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. All branches will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 6.

Summer Reading is Fun @ Your Library!
The FLYP theme this year is “Be Creative @ Your Library.” Please join us at any one of our branches or bookmobile and participate in one of our exciting programs. Each week we will feature a different program for your enjoyment. Some of our special guests include The Battersby Duo, Storyteller Kaye Byrnes, Bob Drost 3D Art and The Braided Light Dance Company.

Teen Financial Literacy Workshops

The St. Johns County Public Library System is teaming up with the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants to offer another installment of the FREE Teen Financial Literacy Series. A one-day seminar designed specifically for individuals ages 15 to 20 will be held at each branch of the Library. Class sizes are limited, so call each branch to register. Lunch will be provided at each location by the Friends of the Library.

St. Johns Reads 2010!

We need help choosing a book for our 2010 St. Johns Reads and want to hear from YOU! Please take just a moment to suggest a book.
We are looking for Adult Fiction books that:
- Have broad appeal across social, political, religious, age lines;
- Bring up issues, messages, or themes that would stimulate good discussion;
- Stand out as well-written pieces of literary Fiction;
- Offer special event possibilities (cooking programs, guest speakers, etc.).
