The Hastings Branch coordinates our Books-by-Mail service.
St. Johns County Library System offers home delivery service for current patrons* for the convenience of browsing the library’s collection from the comforts of home at your leisure. This is very helpful when work, school activities or other obligations are too time constraining to allow ample time to visit a library in person.
If you have a visual impairment or are physically impaired and cannot get to a library, you may also qualify for Books-by-Mail.
How does the Books-by-Mail service work?
Once your Books-by-Mail application has been processed, you may request materials through the library’s online catalog or the Books-by-Mail office.
Your materials will be mailed to you at no cost. You may return your items to any branch library or bookmobile at no cost, or mail them back at your own expense.
Books-by-Mail patrons who qualify as permanently or temporarily homebound may receive free return postage.
How do I become a Books-by-Mail patron?
