<empty>International Migratory Bird Day
Saturday, May 3 @ 10 am
Celebrate migratory birds through an array of activities for children and families. Paint a birdhouse, learn from Ranger Cristy, and visit with Smokey the Bear. Enjoy a bird banding demonstration beginning at 9 AM at the south side picnic tables. Join in the singing with “Ms. Kate” Carpenter, local folksinger. Bring the whole family to this educational, exciting event!

Monday, May 12 @ 6:30 pm  
Mark your calendars for this special evening story time with Ms. Beth complete with puppets, songs, stories, and more! Children of all ages are welcome, invited to wear their pajamas, & bring their families.

<empty>Patches the Firedog
Wednesday, May 14 @ 11 am
Toddlers and Preschoolers are invited to bring their families along to enjoy stories read by Patches the Firedog in honor of Children’s Book Week.

Tuesday, May 20 @ 6:30 pm
Play Station 2 games - bring your own and share, or choose from the library’s selection.

Thursday, May 22 @ 6:00 pm
Everyone is invited to watch this newly released movie starring Nicholas Cage. Snacks provided.

<empty>NE Florida Community Hospice Advanced Directives Living Will Class
Saturday, May 31 @ 10 am
Presented by the Northeast Florida Community Hospice, this free program discusses the importance of a living will and how to specify a person's medical, personal, emotional and spiritual needs at the end of life. This even is suitable for anyone 18 years of age or older.

Treat yourself to great reads for incredible prices at Twice Sold Tales(click here for map) near the intersection of State Road 16 and I-95. Prices for used books range from $.50-$2, with select items at slightly higher prices. Open on Saturdays 12 - 5 pm.
Proceeds help provide programs, books, movies & technology through the Friends of the Library groups which patrons use every day!
