Get into the beat with Joe Asconi and his drums! Joe Asconi Rhythm Company will help connect children to the natural rhythms of the world as he leads them in a spectacular drum circle. Joe was wonderful last year, and we eagerly welcome him back this year!The whole family is welcome; please be aware, however, that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. Workshop: Coaching Skills to Set Your ADHD Child Up for Success
Thursday, July 26 @ 6 pmParents will learn the skills that ADHD coaches use to help children develop their strengths. This class will focus on the 3 R's of success: respect, responsibility, and resourcefulness. Parents will learn why the 3 R's are so important. They will feel empowered with techniques that can be used every day to raise successful children. This workshop is led by ADHD Coach, Deborah Gomer, BSN, RN, CCM. She has over 22 years experience as a Registered Nurse and is a Certified Case Manager. She has worked as an Educator and Clinical Supervisor, using coaching skills to bring out the best in those she works with.
