  • Growing Up Reading in St. Augustine

    Avid readers and history buffs will not want to miss out on this special presentation about books and libraries of the '50s & '60s. This FREE event is presented by Sandra Parks, author of 38 educational books and owner of local bookstore, Anastasia Books. She is a former City Commissioner of St. Augustine, and more importantly a bibliophile. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library of St. Johns County.

    Everyone is welcome to join us at this session of the Southeast Branch's Knitting Club...The Knotty Knitters.  All ages and abilities are welcome.  Instruction can be given to basic beginners.

    Who let the dogs out?  Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time.  Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club.  Don't miss this great experience!

    Rambling Sailors is a duo act dedicated to performing traditional and modern sea shanties and ballads of the sea delivered with their original passion, and better instruments.  Their music is characterized by powerful vocals, strong harmonies, and a mood range from the sweet to the epic.
