We're doing a year-long celebration of Florida literature and starting it off with a bang! Our March book: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. Join us as we discuss the adventures and loves and losses of Janie, the book's protagonist, and her life in 1930s Florida. Please pick a favorite quote or line from the book and bring it with you to the discussion.

This FREE class emphasizes stretching, coordination of breath with movement, and attention to alignment. It is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance, & increase flexibility. Stretching is great for those who experience joint sensitivity, or overall stiffness. Wear loose clothing, bring a towel & mat. Presented by licensed yoga instructor, Gina Mercado. .

Return to the cracker days of old Florida with musician and entertainer Steven Shanholtzer, as he shares his grandfather's tales of Volusia and St. Johns Counties when wild hog hunts were common, and life was harder but so much simpler. His tales will bring laughter AND learning.
