FREE Nemours BrightStart Screenings for Preschoolers Ages 3 - 5
Tuesday, March 19 from 10 am - 12:30 pmChildren ages 3 - 5 are invited to receive a 10-minute FREE Early Literacy Screening at the Library courtesy of Nemours BrightStart! Registration will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis on this day by a representative of Nemours. Nemours BrightStart will be returning monthly in 2013 to conduct more screenings at the Library for those not able to take advantage of the opportunity on this date. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school!
Viva Florida 500 - Family Storytime with Bird Island Park
Tuesday, March 19 @ 11 amRight after "Just for Babies" at 10:15 am, families and their children are invited to join us for Family Storytime with Ms. Anne, celebrating the anniversary of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", springtime, with a special craft and activities in Bird Island Park (directly behind the library) with Ms. Suzanne. Activities will be held inside in case of rain. Celebrate Viva Florida 500, springtime, and reading at the library with Youth Services Librarian Ms. Anne and Ms. Suzanne of Bird Island Park at this special Family Storytime!

The AARP Tax-Aide program offers FREE one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ and other standard schedules. The FREE counseling is available to all low to middle income tax payers, regardless of age. No advance registration is needed, people will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Bedtime Storytime
Tuesday, March 19 @ 6:30 pmWear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards! Arts and crafts come first and then we will wind down with some favorite stories. This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.
This evening we will be reading Irish myths and legends in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Don't forget to wear green!
