  • Viva Florida 500: Family Storytime celebrating Earth Day

    Viva Florida 500Tuesday, April 9 @ 11 am

    Join us for a special Family Storytime (held in the Children's Department due to the library's Book Sale) celebrating Earth Day as well as Viva Florida 500. Ms. Anne will share earthy stories then we'll head outside for a special craft with Ms. Suzanne in Bird Island Park, located directly behind the library. Let's celebrate reading, being good to the Earth, and Bird Island Park's upcoming Earth Day Festival on April 20.

    • Thursday, April 11th  Hours: 10am to 5:30pm
    • Friday, April 12th  Hours: 10am to 5:30pm
    • Saturday, April 13th  Hours: 10am to 4pm (Bag Day)

    The Community Room will be organized with an eclectic collection of wonderful books in excellent condition. The "Better Books Room" will have its share of volumes that any patron would be happy to own at reasonable prices. Tuesday's preview is open only to Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library members. This is your chance to get first choice of books! You can become a Friend of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library at Seymour's Book Store or at the event. Membership begins at just $25. Wednesday through Saturday, the Book Sale will be open to the public. Saturday will once again be Bag Day, where each bag of books is $8. All proceeds go to support the Friends' Mission to make our library an outstanding educational, cultural, civic, and recreational center for the community.

  • AARP Tax Assistance

    Free AARP Tax AssistanceTuesdays, April 2 & 9 from 10 am-2 pm Wednesdays, April 3 & 10 from 10 am-2 pm
    Fridays, April 5 & 12 from 10 am-2 pm
    Saturdays, April 6 & 13 from 10 am-2 pm
    The AARP Tax-Aide program offers FREE one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ and other standard schedules.  The FREE counseling is available to all low to middle income tax payers, regardless of age. No advance registration is needed, people will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals must bring a photo ID, social security card, last year's tax return, and all relevant tax information with them.  


  • People's Law School: "Is Probate a Dirty Word?"

    Tuesday, April 9 @ 4 pm

    Everyone is invited to attend these FREE 1-hour legal classes that will be held every Tuesday at 4:00 pm at the Southeast Branch through April 23rd.  All classes are presented by St. Johns Legal Aid Staff.
