  • Community Spa Day

    Because there is always time to treat yourself right....
    Hey moms or dads, while the kids are in school and you have some time to yourself, how about a relaxing visit to the library just for you? Paige Hunt, a.k.a. The Spa Lady, will be providing complimentary mini-spa treatments. Reserve your spot by calling the Main Library at 827-6940. Check out some of our home spa books, so you can bring the experience back home with you!

    Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a traditional Chinese self-cultivation practice that improves mental and physical wellness through a series of easy-to-learn exercises, meditation, and the development of one's xinxing or heart-mind nature.     The amazing human body is this week's storytime theme. We'll read about hands, bellybuttons, and how hard it is not to yawn sometimes. Join us for music, puppets, and a craft, too.

     

     

  • Stay 'n Play

    There’s no need to rush out after storytime. Instead, stay, socialize with other adults, and maybe even relax. Toys and games will be provided for the little ones so that they can socialize, too.

     

  • Teen Lounge

    Teens, join us for gaming on the Xbox, PlayStation or Wii, play board games, paint, or just hang out with your friends in a fun, friendly environment. Guitars and a keyboard are available if you feel like getting musical.

     

  • The Knotty Knitters

    Friday, November 1 @ 3 pm

    Everyone is welcome to join the Southeast Branch's Knitting Club: The Knotty Knitters. All ages and abilities are encouraged to join and instruction can be provided to beginners. Make new friends and learn a new craft.
