  • Free Nemours BrightStart Screenings for Ages 3 - 5

    storytimeTuesday, February 18 from 10am - 12:30pm
    Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.

     

  • St. Johns Reads Event: St. Johns County - A Tour Through Our Rich Agricultural History

    Tuesday, February 18 @ 6:30pm

    Join Dr. Daniel Cantliffe, UF/IFAS County Extension Director St. Johns County, as he discusses the fascinating agricultural history of St. Johns County. Along the way, you will learn about the crops, people, artifacts, and farming practices that have made Northeast Florida what it is today.

     

  • Yoga with Sharon

    Tuesday, February 18 @ 11 am

    Increase flexibility, build strength, and decrease stress while engaging in the ancient practice of yoga. Yoga instructor Sharon Sprenger will guide students through various techniques. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.

     

  • Teen Lounge

    Teens are welcome to drop by the meeting room for gaming, painting, crafting, or just hanging out. Guitars and a keyboard are available as well.

     

  • Bedtime Storytime

    Wear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards. Arts and crafts come first and then we will wind down with some favorite stories. This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.

    We'll be reading stories about some cool cats, such as Skippyjon Jones and Pete the Cat.

     

  • Adult Crochet Group

    Tuesday, February 18 @ 6pm
    Adults and teens (Age 14+) are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group at the Bartram Trail Branch Library. The group will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t come to any of the meetings? Pick up the crochet pattern at the Reference Desk in the library and crochet the blanket in your spare time. Drop off completed blankets, and any yarn you’d like to donate, during regular library hours.
