  • Teens Read with Kids

    storytimeSaturday, March 8 from 10am - 12pm
    All children are invited to be read to by a teen, or practice reading to a teen, in the Children's Department - this program is presented by the teens of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club. Select what you'd like to hear, read from any of our books, or bring your favorites from home. Please note:  All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program and to be a teen participating in the program, you must be a member of the Ponte Vedra High School Book Club.


  • Adventures in the Arts: Antiques Appraisal Showcase

    ArtSaturday, March 8 from 11am to 3pm

    Seven appraisers will be on duty for books, jewelry, art, coins, and miscellaneous items. Begin to gather your treasures, and arrive early.  Appraisals will be done for a small fee. This program is made possible by FOCUS Cummer and the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.


  • Teen Book Club

    This month's book features poets who wield words like weapons. A page-turner for readers of all tastes, Lexicon: A Novel by Max Barry is part sci-fi, thriller, and romance, with a little humor thrown in. It's also a winner of the 2014 Alex Award for adult books with crossover appeal for young adults, ages 12 through 18. Join us for snacks and discussion.   • Read to Rover

    Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience.

    Come visit with Maddie, Clifford, Cookie, or Oskar. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.

  • Teen Coffeehouse

    Calling all teen artists, poets, and scholars: come share your drawings, sketches, poems, stories... anything. We will meet in the Teen Lounge and share our art and the art of others. Bring your sketchbooks, journals, and your own coffee mug and we'll fill it with decaf coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or apple cider. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

  • Book Sale

    Do you love books? Do you love your library? The Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library will hold this month's book sale from 9:30am to noon - books of all kinds and items such as DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, and audiobooks, will be available. Proceeds from the book sale support programs at the Bartram Trail Branch Library.
