  • Bird Island Park's Earth Day Festival

    Bird Island Park (located behind the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library) is celebrating Earth Day on April 26 and the whole family is invited. Join your friends and neighbors for a free day of activities. Vendors include A1A Scenic Highway, MOSH, HAWKE with live wildlife, park tours with the county naturalist, storytimes, and live music. Hot dogs and drinks will be sold by Boy Scout Troop 277. The Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library is very grateful for our partnership with Bird Island Park's Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Gail for library storytimes.

     

  • Dino-roar, Fossil Explore

    Kids, spend your Saturday afternoon being a paleontologist by  digging for real fossils collected from the Peace River in Southwestern Florida. See if you can guess the type of animal the fossils came from. Also, watch a prehistoric creature-feature while decorating your own dinosaur cookies.

     

  • Read to Rover

    Who let the dogs out? Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience.

    Come visit with Maddie, Clifford, and Cookie. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.

     

  • Home Energy & Water Evaluation Kit Workshop

  • Knit Wits Knitting Club for Kids & Teens

    Knit WitsSaturday, April 26 @ 10:30am
    The Knit Wits is a family affair. Kids 8-17 are welcome to learn to knit, or bring along mom so she can learn too. Learn to knit, or bring in something you’ve already started, and knit with the group. Please bring your own knitting needles, if you have them.
