  • Book Talk Café: Memorable Memoirs

    Book TalkMonday, May 19 @ 6:30pm

    This month's Book Talk Café features three remarkable men who will share their personal stories of lives lived to the fullest. Each one has a vastly different story to tell, and they have each written about their personal journeys in their memoirs: At the End of the Road: One Man’s Journey from Chaos to Clarity by Tim White; Special Agent in Charge, Forrest G. Guthrie’s memoir of his life as a Secret Service Agent who helped protect seven different Presidents; and, The Unlikely Priest by J. Perry Smith, a man who led a life filled with intrigue, danger, and adventure, and eventually became an Episcopal priest. This program is made possible by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

     

  • Needlework with Friends

    Needlework with Friends The Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine would like to invite you to a new program. We will meet the first and third Monday of each month, beginning on May 19th. Bring your projects -- knit, crochet, needlepoint, or cross stitch and share your love of needlecrafts at the Main Library. This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.   • J.A.A.M. (Japanese Anime At Main)

    Monday, May 19 @ 5pm
    Do you love watching anime or reading manga? Tweens, teens, and young twenty-somethings are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club, where you can meet others with similar interests. Feel free to wear a costume if you’d like and come "JAAM" with us. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Main Library St. Johns County.

     

  • Bartram Trail Book Club

    Everyone is invited to discuss Breaking Night, the memoir by Liz Murray.  This young woman went from being homeless to attending Harvard.  New members are always welcome!
