  • Adult Summer Reading Program

    ReadingJune 2 - August 2

    Who says kids have all the fun? Adults can participate in our Adult Summer Reading Program June 2 through August 2. Simply submit a brief review of any book that you read during this time period and you’ll be entered for weekly and program finale raffle drawings. The more you read, the more chances you have of winning. For more information, please call the library at 827-6950 or visit the Reference Desk.

     

  • Free Nemours BrightStart Screenings for Ages 3 - 5

    storytimeTuesday, July 15 from 10am - 12:30pm
    Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lie, and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.

     

  • Pre-K Storytime

    Tuesday, July 15 @ 11am
    Pre-K toddler time is designed for 3-5 year olds prepping for Kindergarten. Join Mr. Andy and Mrs. Marcia Tuesday in The Children's Room for story telling, songs, and crafting.

     

  • Movie Night

    Movie nightTuesday, July 15 @ 5pm
    Tired of being on the hold list, and can't wait any longer to see that new release film? Then join us at the library for a movie night. Tonight, we'll be showing a fast-paced action film about an air marshal that springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk. This film is rated PG-13. Please call the library at 827-6940 for movie title. We'll have plenty of snacks, courtesy of the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.

     

  • Yoga with Sharon

    Tuesday, July 15 @ 11am

    Increase flexibility, build strength, and decrease stress while engaging in the ancient practice of yoga. Yoga instructor Sharon Sprenger will guide students through various techniques to help tone and relax the body. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.

     

  • Teen Lounge

    Teen Lounge is open for gaming on the PS3, Wii, or PS2. We also have board games, paints, and other crafts. Musical instruments are available as well.

     

  • Bedtime Storytime

    Bedtime StorytimeTuesday, July 15 @ 6:30pm

    Wear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards, starting with a yummy craft as we celebrate things that grow. This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.

     

  • Children's Summer Film Festival

    Tuesdays in July @ 3pm
    Is it too hot to be outside? Then come on in and watch a movie on our big screen. Each week we'll be showing a movie with a G or PG rating, so it's fun for the whole family. Please call the Bartram Trail Branch Library at 827-6960 for movie titles and ratings. We'll provide the snacks; bring your own drinks. 

     

     

  • Teen Anime Club

    Teens (Ages 12+), are you looking for something different to do tonight? We're showing a popular anime movie on our big screen. Refreshments will be provided.
