  • Needlework with Friends

    Needlework with FriendsMonday, July 21 @ 3pm
    Bring your projects -- knit, crochet, needlepoint, or cross stitch -- and share your love of needlecrafts at the Main Library. We meet the first and third Monday of each month. This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.   • Nature Detectives...for KIDS!

    batsMonday, July 21 @ 10am & 11:30am (repeat workshop)

    Children (ages 6 - 12) are invited to become Nature Detectives and learn all about bats and the important role they play within our ecosystem at these hands-on programs.  Every child will receive free gardening goodies, including Nature Detective notebooks, and have fun learning all about our wonderful Florida bats and how to spot them.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library and the Garden Club of St. Augustine. Space is limited; stop by the Reference Desk or call the library at 827-6960 to reserve your spot.  Please note:  children under the age of 10 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the program.


  • Bartram Trail Book Club

    Everyone is invited to discuss Teacher Man, the memoir by Frank McCourt. This is McCourt's third book and tells the story of his 30-year career as a high school and college teacher in New York. New members are always welcome.
