  • Summer Reading Event: Teen Wayback Wednesday

    Who says LEGOS are just for little kids? All rising 6th - 12th graders are invited to enjoy an afternoon of LEGO fun including a newly-released movie about LEGOs, building with LEGO blocks with your friends, checking out LEGO books from the library, and playing LEGO Rock Band on our X-Box 360. Thanks to the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, there will be pizza, soda, and munchies as well. Spark a Reaction by telling your friends to not miss the just-for-teens childhood fun at your library. Don't forget to keep turning your summer reading bookmark reviews in at teen programs and the Reference Desk to win free teen books. 


  • iPad User Group

    Come join your fellow iPad users in this informal user group. Bring your favorite tip or app to share with attendees as well as some questions to pose to the group. Space is limited and sign-ups are required. Call the library at 827-6940 to register. Don't forget to bring your iPad.

     

  • Family Film Series

    Main Library is hosting a summer Family Film Series every Wednesday through August 1 in the large meeting room. Bring the kids and enjoy free organic popcorn, courtesy of Diane's Natural Foods. In today's film, Flint, Steve and the gang are back, battling menacing food/animal hybrids. Can Chester help or is Flint's idol too good to be true? Rated PG.

    Hey kids, beat the heat this summer by challenging your friends in our game room.  Wednesdays from 3:30-5pm, you can try out games on our Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, and Wii consoles. Gaming sessions begin as soon as the Family Film ends.

    Help us celebrate the end of Summer Reading with the ever popular, Wild Thing from Where the Wild Things Are. We'll be making some wild crafts and mini jungles with the Garden Club of St. Augustine, while eating some snacks. Be sure to bring your cameras.     Storytimes are every Wednesday June 4 - July 30. Baby & Toddler storytimes are for children up to 18 months. Craft time is open to all children and focuses on teaching scissor, glue and coloring skills. Preschool storytimes are open to any child who can sit for longer stories and participate in active songs. Come for songs, stories, and fun. We look forward to seeing you. To ensure everyone is able to enjoy quality storytimes, we have a maximum capacity of 55.
