Join us for a special Author Book Signing at the Starbucks on Anastasia Island with local best-selling author, Nancy Haddock. Nancy is an award-winning author of mystery romance who now writes cozy mystery. Basket Case, the first book in the “Silver Six Crafting” mysteries, will be released in Sept. 2015 with Berkley Prime Crime. Get your copy autographed! A portion of the book sale proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library. There will also be drawings for prizes.

This month we will feature a documentary on Highclere Castle, the place that inspired the BBC series Downton Abbey, shot on location at the Castle. Reality is even more impressive than the fictitious show, as the lord who married a rich wife to avoid bankruptcy also funded the archaeological dig which unearthed Tutankhamun's fabulous treasure. After, we will be showing the pilot for BBC's acclaimed series, Downton Abbey. Light snacks will be provided by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.
