The Kiwanis Club, Nettles Fine Jewelry, and the Early Learning Coalition are partnering with the library to hold a full blown festival for toddlers. We'll have music, games, stories, crafts, and a special Elmo character visit. The folks from Nemours BrightStart are holding early literacy screenings for children ages 3-5 years old. The St. Augustine Police Department will also be here to talk about bike safety and each child will receive a free bike helmet. You'll want to bring your cameras to this extra special event for our youngest patrons.

Teens (age 12+) can come into the library to make some awesome hemp jewelry or keychains with bottle cap adornments instead of beads. We'll supply all the materials, you just need to show up and use your imagination to create some original designs. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library and donations made from local artists.

Join us for an exciting Viva Florida 500 family event. Ever look out your window and wonder what kind of snake that was lying in your yard? Gather the family, friends, and neighbors and come to the reptile show at the library. LB Reptile Experience will bring lizards, snakes, turtles and more to our library. This program helps educate children about the needs, conservation, and care of these wonderful reptiles. To ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the program, there will be 95 tickets available 1 hour before each show. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.
