The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants (Cathy and Marilyn) - members of the Garden Club of St. Augustine - are coming to the Anastasia Island Branch Library to show you how to use food and flowers to spruce up your home this fall. Raffle tickets are available for purchase from the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library to win the arrangements the Sisterhood create. Proceeds help sponsor this event. All materials are generously provided by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

Preschool Storytime Wednesdays @ 11:05am
Storytimes are every Wednesday through July 31. Baby & Toddler storytimes are aimed at children up to 18 months. Craft time is open to all children and is aimed at teaching scissor, glue and coloring skills. Preschool storytimes are open to any child who can sit for longer stories and participate in active songs. Come for songs, stories, and fun. We look forward to seeing you all!! Every 4th Wednesday of the month, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games, including Monopoly, Connect Four, Candy Land, Scrabble, Chutes & Ladders, Uno, and many more. Get crafty and creative with some out-of-the-box art. Experiment with different tools and mediums as you learn about different cultures and artists. This series is appropriate for kids of all ages. St. Augustine's Jane Quackenbush, author of The Rocket Ship Bed Trip, will be our special guest with a story about how you can dream your way around the solar system. Copies of the book will be on sale with proceeds benefitting the library. Join us for ice cream, an out-of-this-world story, crafts, and more.
