Hitchcock's tale of murder and obsessive love is one of the best remembered films of the late 1950s. Another great performance by Jimmy Stewart and the mysterious good looks of Kim Novak! Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.

Hitchcock had one of his greatest successes in collaboration with Jimmy Stewart in this 1954 film classic. Featuring an amazing soundstage set and a great cast including Grace Kelly and Thelma Ritter, "Rear Window" looks especially good on our 14 foot screen. Teen Financial Literacy Workshop

Ages 15 - 20. Are you starting your first job? Are you graduating from high school soon? Are you about to head off to college? Whatever the reason, every teen needs to learn how to manage money. The St. Johns River Chapter of the FICPA , and the St. Johns County Public Library are teaming up to help. Subjects covered will include budgeting, saving, personal investing, using credit wisely, avoiding identity theft and more. Call 209-3730 to register, as class size is limited. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

Adult Summer Reading Program

All you have to do to participate is to read lots of books, then write reviews on them. For every book review you submit, you’re entered into a raffle to win prizes at the end of summer, such as gift cards to local area book stores. Winners to be announced August 5, 2010.
