SAT/ACT Prep Class Registration Deadline

ACT/SAT Prep CLassThe Friends of the Bartram Trail Library offers ACT and SAT prep classes beginning Monday, February 2. The ACT 5-class series meets at 5pm and the SAT 5-class series meets at 6:30pm on February 2, 9, 23 and March 2. Practice tests for both classes are held at 5pm on March 9. Class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required. For questions, and to register, email folbtl@gmail.com. Please provide the student's name, grade, and specify which exam: ACT or SAT.

 

First Friday Book Club

Set in Botswana, Precious Ramotswe investigates several local mysteries, including a search for a missing boy and the case of the clinic doctor with different personalities for different days of the week. New members are always welcome.

 

Kids Halloween: Magic Show and Trail of Treats

Adults and teens (Age 14+) are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group at the Bartram Trail Branch Library. The group will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t come to any of the meetings? Pick up the crochet pattern at the Reference Desk in the library and crochet the blanket in your spare time. Drop off completed blankets, and any yarn you’d like to donate, during regular library hours.

Master Gardeners' Plant Clinic

Weeds? Bugs? Bad soil? Having trouble making your gardens grow? The St. Johns County Master Gardeners will be on hand today from 10am to noon to answer your lawn and garden questions.  You can bring in a soil sample for free pH testing.

 

 

Toddler and Preschool Storytimes

Toddler Storytime is held every Wednesday, January 7 through April 29 at 10:15am. This program is designed for children 16 months to 3 years and their caregivers. Each session is 20-25 minutes.

Preschool Storytime is held every Wednesday, January 7 through April 29 @ 11am. This program is for children ages 3 to 5 years. Children are encouraged to attend independently. Caregivers may stay in the room or be close by in the library. Includes music, stories, and classrom-type interaction. Each session is 25-30 minutes. Visit our other branches for additional storytimes.

 

Thursday Night at the Movies
