The Jacksonville Genealogy Society will be holding a four-session, Intermediate Genealogy Class, featuring research in the U.S., from 10am to 2pm at the Bartram Trail Branch Library on the following Saturdays: November 23rd, December 7th, 14th, and 21st. Topics will include: Genealogical identification; records & sources - analysis & evaluation; vital records (government & church); land records; immigration & naturalization; often overlooked sources; planning a research trip; publishing your history, and more. Bartram Trail’s FLYP Programs take place at 10am and are held at the Family Activities Building (FAB) at Switzerland Community Church located at 2179 State Road 13. Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. Strollers and street shoes will not be permitted in the building.
