Tweens in 4th-7th grades are invited to come to the library and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out. No registration is necessary and it's free. Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens including our pink Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club.
FLYP Event: LB Reptile Experience
Thursday, June 27 @ 2:30pm and 3:30pm (repeat show)
Ever look out your window and wonder what kind of snake that was lying in your yard? Gather the family, friends, and neighbors and come to the reptile show at the library. LB Reptile Experience will bring lizards, snakes, turtles and more to our library. This program helps educate children about the needs, conservation, and care of these wonderful reptiles. All of our FLYP events this summer will have a Florida flavor in honor of Viva Florida 500. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend; however, please be aware that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. FLYP events are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
FLYP Event: The Spud Sisters (featuring Hastings Branch Library Youth Services Staff)

Kick off a summer of reading right with the always-fun Youth Services staff (Michelle and Beth) from the Hastings Branch Library, this year known as The Spud Sisters! Join us as they present an interactive program guaranteed to get the audience involved with stories, songs, and more. All of our FLYP events this summer will have a Florida flavor in honor of Viva Florida 500. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend; however, please be aware that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. Summer Reading Program: Crafts & Snacks with Pete the Cat!

Children's FLYP Event: Saltwater Cowgirls

Bring in the kids for a fun Viva Florida 500 event and dance to the music of St. Augustine’s own Saltwater Cowgirls as they serenade us with music inspired by the ocean and sea creatures. Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. Strollers and street shoes will not be permitted in the building.
