batsMonday, July 21 @ 10am & 11:30am (repeat workshop)

Children (ages 6 - 12) are invited to become Nature Detectives and learn all about bats and the important role they play within our ecosystem at these hands-on programs.  Every child will receive free gardening goodies, including Nature Detective notebooks, and have fun learning all about our wonderful Florida bats and how to spot them.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library and the Garden Club of St. Augustine. Space is limited; stop by the Reference Desk or call the library at 827-6960 to reserve your spot.  Please note:  children under the age of 10 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the program.

Olaf, the happy snowman, invites the whole family to join Youth Services Librarian Anne and Girly-Girl Partea's at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for "Frozen" fun in July. We'll kick off the fun with frozen stories, bubble dancing to "Frozen" songs, decorating Olaf snowmen, topping it all off with a very special visit from the Snow Queen herself. Dressing up in your favorite "Frozen" clothing is absolutely encouraged, but not required. We look forward to celebrating all the fun things you can do "in summer." Thank you to the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and Girly-Girl Partea's for generously sponsoring this winter wonderland.
