Teen Tech Workshop: Creating a Field of Dreams

Thursday, June 27 @10 am

Teen boyUse iPod Touches and Mac hard- and software to put together an amazing creation. Instructional Technology Coordinators of SJC Rose Kebe and Jesse Gates will lead this fun-filled workshop. Teen Tech Camp is aimed at students grades 5 – 9.

 

 

FLYP Summer Reading Program

Wednesday, June 26 @ 10 am

Join us for an exciting Viva 500 event! The Florida Public Archeology Network presents Timucuan Pyrotechnology. In this hands-on program, children will learn about tools and uses of fire in by the Timucuans, a Native American tribe who lived in the Northeast and North Central Florida. All of our FLYP events this summer will have a Florida flavor in honor of Viva Florida 500. Please note: This event will take place in the Hastings Recreation Center gym located at 400 E. Harris Street. Please ensure all guests wear rubber-soled shoes.
