Join mad scientists, Mr. Andy and Mrs. Marcia, as they dive into science. Young science enthusiasts ages 6-16 are invited to join Main-iac Labs and have fun with our hands on experiments. Sponsored by The Friends of Main Library Saint Augustine.

Come into our Art Lab for projects perfectly fit for little hands, accompanied by a story. Art history can be explored at any age--this month, we'll be learning about colors! This program is designed for toddlers and little ones and sponsored by the State of the Arts grant from the St. Johns Cultural Council.

MAIN-iac Science Labs - Hour of Code: An Introduction to Programming for Kids

Thursday, January 22 @ 4pm

Main-iac Labs is branching out into new territory by participating in the world wide Hour of Code! Kids (Ages 4+), can explore a basic introduction to computer science and even learn basic programming skills using the Angry Birds platform. This one hour program is designed to demystify code and show that anyone can learn the basics. There will be a guided lesson followed by individual and group exploration. Sponsored by The Friends of Main Library St. Augustine.

 

Kids STEM Club

Science GirlSaturday, January 17 @ 2pm

Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. We do it all in Southeast's brand new STEM Club. Elementary and middle school-aged kids are invited to join Miss Alex for fun, educational experiments in the library. This month, we'll be learning about chemical reactions!
