Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lie, and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.

Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. No registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

Attention math geeks and science nerds: your parents need your help to save energy and money. Come to our DIY Science program and learn how to measure energy used in your home. You can then use these calculations to see where you can make some changes to save money and help save the earth. You’ll be able to borrow a home energy kit for two weeks to do your own experiments at home. Recommended for ages 10 and up (unless you’re a MATH GENIUS.) Please bring your adult with you. You can meet Terry and learn all about where she lives, what she eats and what makes this turtle so special.
