Join us for a special Family Storytime celebrating our amazing Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Our Friends support our library through purchasing additional library materials, sponsoring special programming, and so much more. All children and their families are invited to join us for a not-too-spooky Halloween magic show presented by our favorite magician, Mark Alan. Mark presents a brand-new, interactive show full of Halloween-themed magic guaranteed to get your family in the Halloween spirit. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. All little ones - 5th graders are invited to stop by the Reference Desk at the library anytime on Halloween for a Halloween treat bag with several little prizes while supplies last! Just for Babies: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays @10:15am; for babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime.
Family Storytime: Every Tuesday @11am; for children 16 months to 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away. For more information on system-wide library storytimes, please go here.
Wednesday, October 22 from 3pm - 6pm
Every 4th Wednesday of the month, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games, including Monopoly, Connect Four, Candy Land, Scrabble, Chutes & Ladders, Uno, and many more. Simply use your library card, or driver's license, to check out the games. All board games - including our new ones (Trivial Pursuit Family Edition, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Don't Drop the Egg, Super Mario Brothers Checkers, and Apples to Apples Disney Edition) are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

Tweens in 4th-7th grades (ages 9 - 13) are invited to the library for an afternoon of building with Legos and hanging out. No registration is necessary and it's free. Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens, including our pink Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club, too.
Tuesday, October 21 from 10am - 12:30pm
Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lie, and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.

Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. No registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
