MAIN-iac Science LabThursday, September 19 @ 3pm
Join us after school for a hands-on, minds-on science program and work closely with our very own mad scientists from the Children's Department. To celebrate National Library Card Sign Up Month and International Talk Like a Pirate Day we'll be building and launching some Angry Birds catapults. All materials for our experiments are provided. If you can't make it to the science lab, check out some of our amazing science project books.

Come into the library to play with our LEGO bricks and pieces. We supply the LEGO bricks and fun - all you need to bring is your imagination. There is no registration or fee for this program.

 

 

Just for Babies @ Bartram Trail

Just for Babies meets every Tuesday through November. Bring your child to play, socialize and learn with others their age. For children birth to 15 months and their caregiver. We look forward to seeing you. For more information on storytimes at other branches click here.

 

 

Bedtime Storytime

Wear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards. Arts and crafts come first and then we will wind down with some favorite stories. This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.

 

 

International Peace Day: Let's Go Fly a Kite

Release your wishes for peace on the tails of a kite. To celebrate International Peace Day, families are invited to come to the library to create a kite, which will promote peace and harmony. We will go outside and fly our kites (weather permitting). This family program is geared toward all ages and is sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

 

 

Read to Rover

Who let the dogs out? Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience.

Come visit with our sweetheart Maddie, the adorable Cookie, and our newest pal Oscar. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.

book mobileCome to the library for a special storytime, courtesy of the bookmobile. Kids will get a special tour of the "rolling library" and will do a craft, too.
