A favorite toy disappears. A friend moves away. A pet passes away. These are all experiences of loss that a young child might face. We'll explore this topic, but don't worry; it won't be all sad. We'll also read about how we help each other feel happy again and treasure our good memories.
Thursday, June 19 @ 2 pm
Our topic will be "family" in this week's family storytime. We'll read about a family of ten armadillos in Ten, and we'll see what happens when a new baby surprises her sister in Chloe, Instead. Join us.
Thursday, June 12 @ 2 pm
We'll be talking about clothes in this week's storytime, so come wearing your favorite summer outfit. Find out how a young girl gets to keep her favorite dress no matter how big she gets in I Had a Favorite Dress. Also, laugh with us at Crabby Pants. Don't forget, music, movement, and a craft, too.
Thursday, June 5 @ 2 pm
Take a ride with us this week as we tell stories about bicycles. We'll read stories such as Everyone Can Learn to Ride a Bicycle by Chris Raschka and others. We'll also sing, dance, and do a craft.
