Martial Arts for Kids

Join Mr. Jim from All American Martial Arts School for this free series targeted at kids ages 5 to 15. Build upon your skills each week, and complete the series with a special ceremony where you will receive your white belt and have a pizza party at Mr. Jim's school. Registration is required for this free series. Please call the library at 827-6900 to register.

Children's Summer Reading Program (Florida Library Youth Program - FLYP)

FLYP reading logs will be available starting June 9.
All children, birth to 5th grade, are invited to participate in FLYP (Florida Library Youth Program) which includes books and other prizes for reading and fun, weekly performances from magician Mark Alan, St. Johns County Youth Services Staff including Slime Sisters Science and "Frozen" in July, and much more.  All performances, the celebratory ice cream party, and the $1000 worth of book prizes are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Family Game Time

Family Board Game NightWednesday, July 23 from 3pm - 6pm
Every 4th Wednesday of the month, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games, including Monopoly, Connect Four, Candy Land, Scrabble, Chutes & Ladders, Uno, and many more. Simply use your library card, or driver's license, to check out the games. All board games - including our new ones (Trivial Pursuit Family Edition, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Don't Drop the Egg, Super Mario Brothers Checkers, and Apples to Apples Disney Edition) are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

Nature Detectives Workshop

Bat at Hummingbird FeederSaturday, July 19 @ 2pm

Children (ages 6-12) are invited to become Nature Detectives. Every child will receive free gardening goodies, including Nature Detective notebooks, and enjoy learning all about our wonderful Florida bats and why they are valuable and not so scary.
