Preschool Storytime Wednesdays @ 11:05am
Storytimes are every Wednesday through July 31. Baby & Toddler storytimes are aimed at children up to 18 months. Craft time is open to all children and is aimed at teaching scissor, glue and coloring skills. Preschool storytimes are open to any child who can sit for longer stories and participate in active songs. Come for songs, stories, and fun. We look forward to seeing you all!! Come into the library to play with over 60 pounds of LEGO bricks and pieces. We supply the LEGO bricks and fun - all you need to bring is your imagination. There is no registration or fee for this program.
Teens Read with Kids: Ponte Vedra
Saturday, March 8 from 10am - 12pm
All children are invited to be read to by a teen, or practice reading to a teen, in the Children's Department - this program is presented by the teens of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club. Select what you'd like to hear, read from any of our books, or bring your favorites from home. Please note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program and to be a teen participating in the program, you must be a member of the Ponte Vedra High School Book Club.
Read to Rover: Southeast

Elementary students and beginning readers are invited to join our volunteer therapy dogs for a barking good time. Read your favorite stories to these clever canines and become a member of the Read to Rover Frequent Reader Club. Don't miss this great experience. Come visit with Maddie, Clifford, Cookie, or Oskar. Read them one of your favorite books or one of the many doggie tales we have at the library.
Family Bingo for Books: Bartram Trail

Looking for fun for the whole family? Come in and play Bingo for Books from 2pm to 3pm today. Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one free book. Books are generously donated by the Friends of the Bartram Trail Branch Library.
Special Superhero Storytime with the U.S. Coast Guard

Bring in your little ones to meet some of our local heroes, members of the U.S. Coast Guard. They will explain what they do and teach us about water safety. There will be a craft and a meet-and-greet and everyone will have a chance to meet a local superhero and ask questions.

Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, no registration is needed and it's free. Free Nemours BrightStart Screening for Ages 3 -5
Tuesday, March 18 from 10am - 12:30pm
Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.
Prehistoric Pottery for Kids (Grades 2 - 5)

Florida Public Archaeology Network presents Prehistoric Pottery for Kids. Students learn about the advent of pottery in Florida and do hands-on experimentation using pay-doh to explore pottery-making and decorating technology. Space is limited and registration is required. Create beautiful paper mache bird houses in this two-part craft. In the first week, kids choose a form for their bird house and create their design using paper mache. Kids can leave their houses at the library to dry over the week. During the second part, kids will paint and decorate their bird houses.
