Florida Viva 500! Boom Science @ the Library!

Wowzers! Greg from Boom Science will be back to teach us more exciting and cool science stuff! We've had rockets, made ice cream and square bubbles... This time it's all about air! We will make balloon powered cars, boats, and helicopters. We will also see some space demos.This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

Looking for something both fun and educational to do while on Spring Break? Gather the family, friends, and neighbors and come to the reptile show at the library. LB Reptiles present lizards, snakes, turtles, and more to us. This program helps educate children about the needs, conservation, and care of these wonderful reptiles. Great Backyard Bird Count Meet-Up for Birding Guides & Walks

GBBCSaturday, February 15 @ 9am - 3pm
In this great family activity, we'll learn how to go birding. There will be several birding guides available to take out groups of adults and children at the Ocean Hammock Park (on A1A). You may also participate on your own by downloading the packet and turn in your results to be entered into the nationwide bird count.

Storytimes are every Wednesday through July 31. Baby & Toddler storytimes are aimed at children up to 18 months. Craft time is open to all children and is aimed at teaching scissor, glue and coloring skills. Preschool storytimes are open to any child who can sit for longer stories and participate in active songs. Come for songs, stories, and fun. We look forward to seeing you all!! Summer Reading Event: SingleVision

Extinction is forever but you can help. Visit with our animal guests and learn from SingleVision how you can protect rare wildlife.

Bartram Trail’s FLYP Programs take place at 10am and are held at the Family Activities Building (FAB) at Switzerland Community Church located at 2179 State Road 13. Children of all ages may attend; please be aware, however, that FLYP Programs are geared toward the school-age child. Strollers and street shoes will not be permitted in the building. Tweens in 4th-7th grades (ages 9 - 13) are invited to the library for an afternoon of building with Legos and hanging out. No registration is necessary and it's free. Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens, including our pink Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club, too.

School is back in session and so is after school gaming. Every second and third Thursday of the month you can challenge your friends on our Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, and Playstation 3 gaming systems. Everyone gets a turn so come play from 3pm - 5pm.
