St. Johns Reads Event: Thomas Neil Knowles

St. Johns ReadsAuthor of Category 5 and historian, Thomas Neil Knowles, will examine the 1935 Labor Day hurricane, which caused the death of more than 400 people in the Keys alone and destroyed the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension. Knowles will describe what daily life was like on the Keys and why so many Americans perished in the storm.

Do you love free books and playing B-I-N-G-O? Come on out to the library, make new friends or bring old friends along, and win adult fiction and non-fiction books. Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least one book. Book prizes are generously donated by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine. Everyone is welcome and it's free.

Healthcare Navigators are certified to assist with insurance enrollment and are qualified to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Silent Peace Meditation

Silent Peace MeditationWednesday, February 11 @ 7pm

Meditation teacher, Kathleen Roberts, will open the group with a short breathing exercise and lead us into a silent meditation, where the participants will think peace.
