Get Medicare Answers

Serving Health Insurance Needs of EldersSaturday, October 19 from 12pm - 4pm
SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. A specially-trained volunteer can assist you with your Medicare questions. Get free and unbiased help with Medicare eligibility, enrollment, and coverage options. Medicare Open Enrollment is from October 15 - December 7, so don't miss out on this invaluable workshop.

Strengthening the muscles that support your spine helps keep your back and upper body stable. Keeping these muscles strong can relieve back pain and prevent injuries. This simple workout is specifically designed to stretch and strengthen the back with a mix of dynamic and static stretches. This free class is presented by yoga instructor, Gina Mercado.

Friends of the Library Brown-Bag Lunch Event: St. Augustine Art Association

St. Augustine Art AssociationWednesday, September 18 @ 12:30pm
Elyse Brady, administrator of the St. Augustine Art Association, joins the Friends of the Library for a special brown-bag lunch. Brady will share details about old and new treasures found at the art association site, including rare 16th-century Spanish and Native American artifacts from Sir Francis Drake's infamous attack, mid-century "Lost Colony" paintings, and the art of today's emerging local artists. Bring a lunch and attend this free program to learn more about local art history and current community resources for artists.

 

After School Family Film
