This special program celebrates Viva Florida 500 and is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants (Cathy and Marilyn, members of the Garden Club of St. Augustine) is ready to help you discover the meanings of flowers and how they can come together in beautiful holiday arrangements. If you wish, buy raffle tickets from the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library to win the arrangements the Sisterhood creates with the proceeds helping to sponsor this event. Doors will open at 1:30pm and light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
Saturday, October 26 from 2 - 4pm
Bring your toddlers, friends, and family for a storytelling adventure and treats. The library's teen volunteers will be handing out sweets on the "Trail of Treats." Costumes are encouraged but not required. Entertainment is provided by Meredith Rae Music and this event is located behind the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library with parking to the south end of the building. Join us and Happy Halloween.

Celebrate Halloween at the library with Family Storytime and test drive your Halloween costume, if you wish, by wearing it to storytime. We'll enjoy some not-too-spooky BOOOOOks and a fun Halloween craft afterwards. Happy Halloween!

Come help us celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library building. The whole family can join in the fun and play bingo, make a balloon sculpture, get your face painted, watch a puppet show, listen to jazz music, go on a scavenger hunt, and much more. Sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

Teens (Ages 13 - 18) are invited celebrate Halloween at the library with your friends and partake of pizza, sodas, candy, "Bowling for Books" on our PlayStation3, music, crafts, and more. Costumes are encouraged, but not required, and for those teens dressed in costume, you'll be entered into a raffle for a copy of Allegiant, the final book in the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. This party is hosted by our library's Teen Advisory Board and is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and First Southern Bank in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Join Ms. Anne and our favorite Bird Island Park volunteers - Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Gail - for a special bird-themed storytime celebrating Viva Florida 500 with a craft and nature walk afterwards in Bird Island Park. If the weather's nice, we'll gather in the meeting room and then take storytime outdoors, so bring a comfy blanket. The whole family is invited to celebrate Viva Florida 500, our feathered friends, and our wonderful partnership with Bird Island Park.
Just for Babies - Held the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 10:15am; for babies up to 15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby. Families with multiple children are encouraged to attend Family Storytime.
Family Storytime - Held every Tuesday morning at 11am; for children 16 months - 5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away. For more information on system-wide library storytimes, please go here.
