Tweens in 4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration is necessary and it's free! Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens! Please Note: Starting in January 2013, this program moves from the 2nd to the 3rd Wednesday of every month! Also, thanks to the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, we now have pink Legos, too - tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club!!

Children ages 3 - 5 are invited to receive a 10-minute FREE Early Literacy Screening at the Library courtesy of Nemours BrightStart! Registration will be taken on a first-come, first serve basis on this day by a representative of Nemours. Nemours BrightStart will be returning monthly in 2013 to conduct more screenings at the Library for those not able to take advantage of the opportunity on this date. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lay and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school!

Children in Kindergarten - 5th grade, and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club! Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, no registration is needed, and it's FREE! Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program and starting in January 2013, this program moves from the 1st to the 2nd Wednesday of every month!

Teens ages 13 - 18 ONLY are invited to join our new Teen Advisory Board and have a say in the materials we order for teens, the teen programs we offer, and much more at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library! Participation in the Teen Advisory Board counts as service hours and snacks will be served provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for our meeting - led by Youth Services Librarian Anne Crawford - and get involved!

All 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY are invited to have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call 827-6950 for more details! Please Note: Starting in January 2013, Teen Gaming Night will now be open to 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY to make this program just for TEENS!

All children are invited to join us for a special Teens Read with Kids - this program is presented by the teens of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club! We'll have a special display of Dr. Seuss books to choose from, if you wish, as well as a Dr. Seuss sticker for every child who participates. Select what you'd like to hear, read from any of our books, or bring your favorites from home. Please note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program and to be a teen participating in the program, you must be a member of the Ponte Vedra High School Book Club.

Marian, a native of St. Augustine, is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Nutritional Health Coach who teaches people that they have the power to live happy and healthy lives.

The Florida State College at Jacksonville Choir will give the final concert of the Friends of the Library music series for the season. The Choir, directed by Timothy Workman, has won several prestigious awards, including invitations to perform at the National Choir Convention in Los Angeles and the Andy Williams Christmas show. Everyone is welcome and it's free! Doors will open at 6:00 pm and seating is limited! This program is made possible by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
