Does your little one love Elmo? Do you have fond memories yourself of Sesame Street? The whole family is invited to celebrate this year's National Library Week theme "Lives change @ your library" by coming to our Sesame Street Festival for crafts, dancing with bubbles and shaky eggs, a Sesame Street book display, chalk art, games, puppets, pictures with our Sesame Street backdrop and our 3-foot plus Elmo doll, and so much more! Please bring your own camera for any pictures you wish to take and wear your favorite Sesame Street attire if you wish. This special event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

The Community Room will be organized with an eclectic collection of books in excellent condition. The "Better Books Room" will have its share of volumes that any patron would be happy to own at reasonable prices. Tuesday's preview is open only to Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library members. This is your chance to get first choice of books. You can become a Friend of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library at Seymour's Book Store or at the event. Membership begins at just $25. Wednesday through Saturday, the Book Sale will be open to the public. Saturday will once again be Bag Day, where each bag of books is $8. All proceeds go to support the Friends' Mission to make our library an outstanding educational, cultural, civic, and recreational center for the community.
