Held the 3rd Wednesday instead of the 4th due to Thanksgiving! The whole family is invited to the library to play board games, including Monopoly, Connect Four, Candy Land, Scrabble, Chutes & Ladders, Uno, and many more. Simply use your library card, or driver's license, to check out the games. All board games - including our new ones (Trivial Pursuit Family Edition, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Don't Drop the Egg, Super Mario Brothers Checkers, and Apples to Apples Disney Edition) are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

Tweens in 4th-7th grades (ages 9 - 13) are invited to the library for an afternoon of building with Legos and hanging out. No registration is necessary and it's free. Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens, including our pink Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club, too.

Held the 3rd Tuesday instead of the 2nd due to the Veteran's Day Holiday! Teens (Ages 13 - 18) are invited to join our Teen Advisory Board and have a say in the materials we order for teens, the teen programs we offer, and much more at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Participation in the Teen Advisory Board counts as volunteer service hours and snacks are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for our meeting and get involved.

Children ages 3-5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lie, and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.

Children (K - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. No registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
Wednesday, November 5 @ 5pm - CANCELED FOR NOVEMBER!
Teens (Ages 13-18) are invited to have fun with friends at the library. Play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3, Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo Wii, or X-Box 360 set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing. Don't worry about waiting for a turn - we'll have board games to play. Snacks will be provided. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call the library at 827-6950 for more details.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants (Cathy and Marilyn, members of the Garden Club of St. Augustine) are ready to help you learn how to use flowers, fruits, and vegetables - the bounty of the Fall - in beautiful holiday arrangements. If you wish, buy raffle tickets from the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library to win the arrangements the Sisterhood creates. The raffle proceeds help sponsor this event. Doors will open at 1:30pm and light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for this annual event not to be missed!

This month's Book Talk Café program features Michael Wiley, author of several mystery novels. His current book is Blue Avenue, an atmospheric crime noir series set in Northeast Florida. Join us for this free program which is made possible by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

The next concert in the series will feature "Two Flutes and a Harp" with Les Roettges, principal flutist with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Lorraine Roettges, flutist, and Kayo Ishimaru, principal harpist with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. Everyone is welcome and it's free. Doors open at 6pm and seating is limited. This program is made possible by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
