Art Lab

Get crafty and creative with some out-of-the-box art. Experiment with different tools and mediums. Bring home some art that mom or dad will be proud to hang on the fridge. This series, which runs every Thursday through July 31, is appropriate for kids of all ages. Although plastic aprons are supplied, please wear clothing that you feel comfortable painting in. This series is sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.

Yoga is a great way to increase flexibility, lower stress, and improve energy. Learn to relax your mind and body with some simple, kid-friendly stretches and exercises. This program is for beginners and fun for the whole family.  It is recommended that you wear loose clothing and bring your own water bottle.

Summer Reading Event: Wacky Wednesday

Fizz Boom Read! Celebrate the beginning of summer reading with an "out of this world" party as we begin our summer of hands-on learning, science experiments, and make and take projects. Summer reading logs will be available for pick up and popsicles will be provided through partnership with The Hyppo, courtesy of the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library. 

 

Bedtime Storytime

Wear your PJs to this special session of our regular Wednesday storytime where we do storytime backwards. The theme tonight will be "Donuts for Dads" in honor of Father's Day! This is a family program that is suitable for all young children.

 

Books & BBQ with Becky

hungry ghostSaturday, June 14 @ 12pm

Explore creative writing with the author of the Hungry Ghost books. Flagler Beach author, Becky Pourchot, returns to Southeast to share some creative exercises, group activities, and BBQ. Teens, ages 11-18, are welcome to bring their own stories and poems to share. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library. Registration is required. Teen Financial Literacy Workshop - THIS HAS BEEN CANCELED

The Teen Financial Literacy program tomorrow at Southeast has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 30 from 10am-3pm. To register, please call 827-6900. Otherwise, Bartram Trail and Ponte Vedra still have space for their programs, which are Saturday, June 14 @ PV and Saturday, June 21 @ BT.
