Foreign Film Friday

On one Friday a month, we'll be showing a film from a country other than the U.S., and you're invited to join us on this international journey... all for free! Get to Know the Council on Aging (COA)

Council on Aging Outreach Coordinator, Lynn Eberly, will share information about the programs and services of the COA. Learn about developments and plans for the COA Memory Enhancement Program, Care Giver Support Meetings, and much more. AARP Tax Assistance

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays through April 15 from 10am to 2pm

aarp tax assistanceThe AARP Tax-Aide program offers free, one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and other standard schedules. Counseling is available to all low-to-middle income taxpayers, regardless of age. No advance registration is needed, people will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individuals must bring a photo ID, last year's tax return, and all relevant tax information with them.

This new group, led by Irene Flynn, is ideal for those interested in initial instruction as well as those looking for a group to sit with in a peaceful setting. Chairs are available for those who are not able to floor sit; otherwise, please bring your own cushion.
