Gentle Yoga

yogaAre you interested in an activity that connects the mind and body? Yoga instructor, Kim McWilliams, guides participants through gentle yoga today at 12:30pm and all are welcome to join. Her classical yoga style focuses on proper alignment and core strength, with a focus on safety. We encourage you to bring your own yoga mat or towel to use during this free one-hour class.

 The AARP Tax-Aide program offers free, one-on-one counseling to help individuals prepare basic tax forms, including the 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and other standard schedules. Counseling is available to all low-to-middle income taxpayers, regardless of age. No advance registration is needed, people will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals must bring a photo ID, last year's tax return, and all relevant tax information with them.

FOLSE Community Conversations with Chef Warren Caterson

Chef Caterson will end the presentation with a cooking demonstration, preparing a healthy entrée that anyone can replicate in their own home. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southeast Branch Library.
