Wednesday, October 1 - Wednesday, October 29
All 6th - 12th graders are invited to compete in our month-long Teen Zombie Reading Contest celebrating this year's Teen Read Week theme, "Turn Your Dreams Into Reality!" To participate, simply go to the Reference Desk of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library starting October 1 to pick up your bookmark reviews. Write short reviews for any books you read during October and turn them in at the Reference Desk for an opportunity to be one of our five grand prize winners selected and contacted on Thursday, October 30. If you win, Jay Woodley, of Woodley Special Effects, whose talents include providing zombie makeup for The Walking Dead, will come to our library after school on Halloween and turn you into a zombie or survivor (your choice!) with special effects makeup and clothes you can keep! The more entries you turn in, the better your chances of a really memorable Halloween. For questions, call the library at 827-6950. This amazing opportunity is made possible by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Happy Halloween!
Wednesday, October 22 from 3pm - 6pm
