Artkid Kids and teens, get rid of the winter “blahs” with some cool and cute winter art that you can eat! Make a snowman, penguins, a polar bear or a skier!

Family Game Time

Wednesday, January 23 from 3 - 6 pm

On the 4th Wednesday of every month between 3 - 6 pm, the whole family is invited to the library to play board games. Simply use your library card or driver's license to check out a board game or two and play anywhere in the library. Challenge your family and friends to your favorite games! Call the Library at 827-6950 for more details. All board games are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

LEGO Club for Tweens

Wednesday, January 16 from 4 - 5 pm

Tweens in 4th - 7th grade ONLY are invited to come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration is necessary and it's free! Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens! Please Note: Starting in January 2013, this program moves from the 2nd to the 3rd Wednesday of every month! Also, thanks to the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, we now have pink Legos, too - tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club!!

Teen Advisory Board (new!)

Teens ages 13 - 18 ONLY are invited to join our new Teen Advisory Board and have a say in the books and audio-visual materials we order for teens, the teen programs we offer, and much more at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library! Participation in the Teen Advisory Board counts as service hours and snacks will be served provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Join us for our first meeting - led by Youth Services Librarian Anne Crawford - and get involved!

Teen Gaming Night

Wednesday, January 2 from 5 - 7 pm

All 13 - 18 year-olds ONLY are invited to have fun with your friends at the library and play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3 (with the new Move), Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 (with the new Kinect) set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call 827-6950 for more details!
