FAQ - eAudiobooks

My last audiobook download failed. How many times can I attempt to download an audiobook?
Users have a limit of 5 download attempts for any title. After reaching
this limit users must wait for the checkout time to expire and for the
title to automatically check itself in. Once this happens the download
counter reset and users again have 5 tries to download. If you
experience two or more download failures, consider downloading a title
at a lower sound quality. This will reduce the download time and reduce
the chance of a download failure.

Do I need a NetLibrary account to access audiobooks?
Yes. To set up an account:

  • Step 1
    - Access NetLibrary from the database page of the library's website. Click on the "Create a Free Account" link at the top of the page,
and follow the directions to create your account.

    - Log out and close your browser window. You will now go directly to
the netlibrary page to access audiobooks. In a new browser window, go
to www.netlibrary.com, and log in with your new account info.
  • Step 3 - Click on Audiobooks Center link to begin searching for audiobooks.
