How Your Decisions Can Help Improve Our Coastal Communities - Program has been CANCELLED!

How Your Decisions Can Help Improve Our Coastal CommunitiesTuesday, January 22 @ 6 pm
Best management practices (BMPs) are effective, practical, structural or nonstructural methods that enhance environmental quality. Implementing BMPs in our communities will help to protect our coastal resources and improve the quality of life to benefit our ecosystems and human populations. A variety of BMPs exist to reduce pollution, improve water quality, reduce impacts to wildlife, and enhance natural ecosystems. The GTM Research Reserve is part of a state-wide program known as the Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP). This mixer will look at the reserve’s BMP programs, explain the connection between BMPs and make connections to the choices we make as a coastal community. Presented by the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve.  Unfortunately, this program has been cancelled!
