Library patrons can request materials not currently owned in the St. Johns County Library System from their local branch online. Items that can NOT be requested are: Items currently owned by SJCPLS; Newly published materials (less than one year old); Feature films less than three years old; Fictional television series; Audiovisual titles in a different format than what is currently owned (example - if we own a DVD, will not borrow VHS of same title); textbooks; entire issues of periodicals; rare books or materials; materials for class, reserve or group use; e-books or e-documents; multiple copies of the same title for group use (book clubs)

We will do our best to acquire the material requested and place patrons on hold for it by either Inter-Library Loaning or purchasing the items as our budget allows.
