This month's music program features Jim Carrick, Florida born folk artist on guitar and vocals. Everyone is welcome and it's free. Doors open at 6pm and seating is limited. This program is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
Wednesday, December 2 @ 4pm
Children (Kindergarten - 5th grade), and their caregivers, are invited to make crafts with the teens of Nease High School's Arts in Motion Club. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. No registration is needed and it's free. Please Note: All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied in the room by an adult for the entire program.

Get your holiday shopping done early at our Friends of the Library Holiday Book Sale. You find an assortment of Holiday items, including book, DVDs, Music CDs, and much more. All proceeds go to support the Friends' Mission to make our library an outstanding educational, cultural, civic, and recreational center for the community.

Held the 2nd Wednesday of this month instead of the first! Teens (ages 13 - 17) are invited to have fun with friends at the library. Play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3, Nintendo WiiU, and Nintendo Wii set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing. Don't worry about waiting for a turn - we'll have board games to play. Snacks will be provided. These programs are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and our friends at Sony. Call the library at 827-6950 for more details.
Thursday, December 10 from 10am - 12:30pm
Children ages 3 - 5 are invited to receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy of Nemours BrightStart. Registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis by a Nemours representative. Utilize this free screening to find out where your child's literacy strengths lie, and what you can do to help them improve in any other areas before they start school.
Wednesday, December 16 from 3pm - 4:30pm
Tweens ages 8 - 12 are invited to the library for an afternoon of building with Legos and hanging out! No registration is necessary and it's free. Thanks to our Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library for providing the Legos for this very special program just for Tweens, including our pink Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers, we want you to join our club, too. All young LEGO lovers, please enjoy our brand-new LEGO table in the Children's Department, purchased by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, so that this special program may just be for Tweens!

All middle school and high school students are invited for a Teen Holiday Party including pizza and sodas, video gaming on our Nintendo WiiU and PlayStation 3, a White Elephant Exchange, My Little Pony books and more for our Bronies, board games, and a holiday movie favorite, "Home Alone". To participate in the White Elephant Exchange, simply bring a wrapped gift of $5 or less with no name. Bring your friends and kick off Winter Break right. Please call 827-6950 for more details. Teens ages 13 - 18 are invited to beat the post-holiday blues with your friends by joining us for a special Winter Break Teen Gaming Night! Enjoy snacks while playing our Nintendo WiiU, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii set up on three separate TVs in our FOL Community Room. Thank you to the Friends of the Library and our friends at Sony for sponsoring this event. Don't forget: starting in January 2016, Teen Gaming Night becomes Teen Gaming Club and will be hosted twice a month - on the first Wednesday night of each month from 5 - 7 pm and the 3rd Saturday afternoon of each month from 2 - 4 pm.
