Teens (Ages 13-18) are invited to have fun with friends at the library. Play "E" and "T"-rated games on our PlayStation 3, Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo Wii, or X-Box 360 set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing. Don't worry about waiting for a turn - we'll have board games to play. Snacks will be provided. Yoga is a great way to increase flexibility, lower stress, and improve energy. Learn to relax your mind and body with some simple, kid-friendly stretches and exercises. This program is for beginners and fun for the whole family. Please wear loose clothing and bring your own towel or mat. Teens are welcome, too.

Adult Crochet Group: Bartram Trail

@ 6pm

Adults and teens (age 14+) are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group at the Bartram Trail Branch Library. The group will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t come to any of the meetings? Pick up the crochet pattern at the Reference Desk in the library and crochet the blanket in your spare time. Drop off completed blankets and any yarn you’d like to donate during regular library hours.

Biblioclast Fall Art for Adults and Teens: Anastasia Island

Book Arty, November 15 @ 2pm
A Biblioclast historically carries a definition of a person who burns, mutilates, or destroys books, however not all biblioclasts are nefarious. At this fall art program, we will recast books as an art medium in support of libraries, books, words, and ideas. Join us in a transformation of damaged or poor condition books into original works of art by folding, cutting, manipulating and carving covers and paper pages. Create a book pumpkin for the fall and fashion stylish book leaves.

 

International Games DayTeen Gamers: Bartram Trail

Held the 3rd Wednesday instead of the 4th due to Thanksgiving! The whole family is invited to the library to play board games, including Monopoly, Connect Four, Candy Land, Scrabble, Chutes & Ladders, Uno, and many more. Simply use your library card, or driver's license, to check out the games. All board games - including our new ones (Trivial Pursuit Family Edition, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Don't Drop the Egg, Super Mario Brothers Checkers, and Apples to Apples Disney Edition) are provided by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

 

LEGO Club for Tweens: Ponte Vedra

LegoTweens in 4th-7th grades (ages 9 - 13) are invited to the library for an afternoon of building with Legos and hanging out. No registration is necessary and it's free. J.A.A.M. (Japanese Anime At Main): Kimono Demonstration

The teen anime club is excited to host this chance to learn how to wear traditional Japanese clothing. Casual Warrior's Kimono will provide a step-by-step demonstration on how to wear a kimono and tie an obi. Come to find out what an obi is! All who attend will be entered into a drawing for a haori (kimono jacket).
