MAIN: St. AugusTEEN Digital Scrapbook 07/01 to 07/31

Express Yourself @ the Library with the St. AugusTEEN Digital Scrapbook:
If you are between the ages of 11-18, and own or can borrow a digital camera, the Main Library invites you to take and share your photos of St. Augustine as part of our teen summer programming.

How to Participate

Take a bunch of awesome photographs of your neighborhood or anywhere around St. Augustine. Pick your three favorite photos and upload them to your Flickr account.  If you don’t have a Flickr account, go to www.flickr.com to create a free account. From your Flickr account do a group search for “SJC Library St. Augusteen Digital Scrapbook.” Join the group and add your three photos to the group with a tag including your first name, age and if you want, a brief description of your photo. Photos must be submitted to the group between July 1st-31st! If you have any ??? check out the group discussion boards on Flickr or ask for help @ the Main Library. Now all you have to do is wait for your pictures to show up on our library website www.sjcpls.org beginning in August.
The Main Library will also be hosting a digital gallery showing of all photos on Thursday, August 6th @ 4:00 P.M.  Refreshments will be provided by the FOL.

Rules for Participation

Pictures with the faces of minors will not be allowed UNLESS the parent/guardian of the photographed subject signs a permission slip (which can be picked up at the reference desk).
NOTICE: Photos may be posted on the library’s website or in local newspapers.
